WHO WE ARE
Kia Ora, we’re SchoolPickup. We’re a super-simple online platform used by schools around New Zealand to manage fundraising. We’re serious about sourcing top quality products (no plastic junk) that parents, teachers and kids love. Through a dedicated school page, fundraising is taken care of, leaving teachers to get on with the important job of teaching.
We are parents ourselves, based in Queenstown. We have seen first hand the huge effort required by staff and parents to raise enough money each year so that the pupils get the education we all want for them. It is our intention that SchoolPickUp will alleviate some of the time and stress involved and give all of us the opportunity to spend more time doing the things we should doing - teaching our kids and helping them become great adults.
By making it easy to access sustainable and New Zealand-made products for school fundraising, we’re helping build a better future for kiwi schools and kiwi kids.
HOW IT WORKS
SchoolPickUp works like most other online stores - the difference being that a significant percentage of the profits (50% actually) goes straight to the school you are wanting to support.
Our delivery times can be a little longer than normal, but given that our schools are receiving so much needed support, the range of carefully considered products is vast, the quality is as high as we can source and, where possible, environmentally friendly options are offered - then we think it is a small price to pay.

The title is a a bit of a misnomer - given that we have only just launched and there have literally been no questions asked. Perhaps is should be called the IAQs page (infrequently asked questions)
Anyway….we have attempted to think of all the thorny questions you may have pondered and provided answers below. Over time this list will grow but please do get in contact with us if we have not covered your query.
SHIPPING AND RETURNS
We have a 90-day return policy, which means you have 90 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
To start a return, you can contact us at email@example.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
